Brings back memories. Thanks for posting. I was there a few years ago and loved it, I was stopping all along the way for pictures as most people just drove on through and didn't take time to notice all that's really there. I had read a book on alligators by E.A. Mc Ilhenny about alligators and the bird city ,the jungle gardens and their creation was described pretty well.
I hope you didn't buy any of the red painted dowels they sell to the tourists
Any alligator pics? One ate a nutria while I was there....very cool!
