Thanks Bill , I think last year I waited until after the frost . That's what I am going to do this year for sure .
Do you have to carry them down steps ? That would really suck ...
I have a walkout basement so I have a cart I built for rolling them around which makes it a little easier . Also I have vowed to not let the clumps on the orinocos get so large . I have been cutting pups and replanting them all summer . Now I have a lot of single stem plants which are much easier to move and store . I still have 2 large corms that had fruiting plants on them this year but , after I cut the fruiting psuedostems off they shouldn't be too bad to move either .
The tiki bar grand opening will be in the summer 2010 so , if you are ever down this way there is a Corona with your name on it ...
