Default Headed in for the winter

I decided it was too dangerous to wait any longer, so I dug up the bananas that I had planted around the top part of the property. I now have several pups that I can seperate from this years growth.

I was looking out the window in my bathroom and the landscape looks different without the bananas. I can't wait until they can safely emerge again in the Spring 2010. The tallest banana was given to me, and it grew about 3+ feet this season. Does anyone have a guess of what it might be? I thought it was a Dwarf Cavendish.
