Re: Who's growing mulberry ?
Here's an article about Mulberries from the Bangkok Post that I happened to read a few weeks ago. Some of it pertains to local sources, but most of it should be of interest. A luscious-looking remedy | Bangkok Post: lifestyle

Re: Who's growing mulberry ?
We have had mulberry trees for the last 30 years. Our best is a Romanian black mulberry tree bought from edible landscaping. Many people find white mulberries insipid, but the best mulberries that I ever tasted were white mulberries growing outside the Bourbon crypt in Slovenia. I'd love to get one of this unbelievably sweet variety.

Re: Who's growing mulberry ?
Am I growing mulberry if I'm really just complaining about the damnable thing crapping its berries all over my deck all summer?

I'll say this much, though; the thing is virulent. I am constantly pulling seedlings out of all my potted plants on the deck all summer and through the winter when they come inside. |
