What'cha got sprouting? (other plants)
Hello again banana buddies: :waving:
This thread will be a place to talk about and show pics of what you have germinating recently. I sow seeds year round and wanted a place to show my sprouts. Others may feel free also to post about their germinating seedlings or show shots as well. Here's my "Fluorescent Purple" hot pepper seedlings that popped a little bit ago...  "Three Kings" Plumeria seedling (Thanks Bob!)...  Kumquat seedlings (Japanese Red Maple seedlings to the right)...  Three "Aurora" hot pepper seedlings and 2 kinds of hand-collected passiflora seeds I was testing for viability. Looks like I have success...  "Goji Berry" (Lycium Barbarum)...  "Taxo" banana passion flower sprout from Beth. There's another in the middle of the pot just beginning to emerge...  Key Lime and Kumquat seedlings...  Sprouted "Ataulfo" mango pit...  Hoping everyone else's seeds are coming up great as well. Let us know... : ) |

Labelling is so important and something I'm fanatical about. I just can't stand not knowing what I'm growing if I can help it.
Get yourself some tape Ante - the kind you can write on, and use that if you can't be bothered to buy actual labels. :ha: Then you can just stick the tape on your pots. I like to write the identification and date the seed was sown. Here's my "Patio" tomato seedlings, even though they've all been transplanted now. This is my most favorite Determinate variety and it'll even produce in a south window in the dead of winter! :02:  If your unlabled plants are some of mine Ante, feel free to post shots and I could let you know what they are... Otherwise, get that tape! :goteam: : ) |

Have I shown off my Himalayan Blue poppy seedling lately? It sprouted awhile ago but took a long time to get going. Finally has now...  I've also got Dwarf Pomegranate, and white French Vanilla marigolds popping too. : ) |

Are you talking about Desert Rose Adenium? I just sowed a couple seeds of that and hope it pops..

Very cool! That's one beauty (desert rose), eh? I am so hoping my seeds come up too. The person who sent them to me only had a couple.

Had another one come up over a month ago, but these are my two latest dwarf ylang ylang sprouts
(thanks Bob :03:)  Nice Avacado sprout, Ante. Cool palms too! Feel free to show shots of them here as they grow. Seedlings shown in this thread may also be shown as they grow and mature. Way ahead of any other years Squash is also starting to flower Now its just a waiting game |
