What type of Musa is this?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone knows which species this is?
It was sold to me as Muse Velutina seedling but I am not so sure about that since beginning of the year I bought a seedlings that looked different.

Could be a young velutina.
I does look similar to the ones I grew.


Growing conditions can change the growth habit of a plant.

Is this plant easy to buy and easy to grow? This is the first time I see this tree.

Yes they are quite easy to grow. A bit difficult to get through the winter. I have a lot available for sale if you are interested. I live in the Netherlands and can send them where you live.

Does this plant have flowers? What is it used for? I have never seen this plant before.

Yes it has pink flowers and with flower when it is around 1.3 meters. Its an ornamental plant so not for eating purposes but you can eat it though.
