This is the thing. Even in your 40s gardners who plant Sagos may never see them to maturity (depending how quick they grow, how warm the country they live) and need for our parents to plant them to hand down so to speak. In the UK some people (elders) would not have even thought of gardening with tropicals. Now even though the last two winters have been cruel with many tropical specimens lost we still want them.
