Umbrella plant (Cyperus involucratus) in DFW?

Does anyone in the Dallas area grow this and, if so, have you found it to be invasive? Once a person plants it, how easy is it to remove once it's started IF it does become invasive? I want to plant it in a somewhat shady area that stays a bit damp in the summer.
