Pandorea "Golden Showers"

Anybody growing this vine, and how do you like it?

This is a yellow-flowering cultivar of Pandorea pandorana, aka Bignonia australis, Tecoma australis, Wonga-Wonga Vine.

Thanks!

Re: Pandorea "Golden Showers"

A couple of years ago I found it on sale and planted it in a sheltered area that opens up to the northwest. It is a sturdy plant, definitely more cold hardy than the more common Bower Vine (Pandorea jasminoides). It will naturally twist and vine on trellises, branches of other plants, etc. but does not have tendrils or suction cups for adhering to masonry. This time of year it sports beautiful clusters of yellow flowers about 1.5 inches long.
