Palms, so far so good
 

Planted out 3 2' tall windmill palms and 2 needle palms last summer. Mulched them by piling a big pile of loose leaves over them last fall. Uncovered them today. They all look good, no spear pull on any. The needle palms pretty much look the same as fall, the leaves are even still green. The windmills leaves are all brown but petioles and central part of spear leaf still green. How cool is that?
