Mango/Loquat container size question?

Hello,
I need some advice on planting some approx. 3 foot tall trees in 3.5gal. containers.
I know some plants benefit from progressively transplanting to slightly larger containers over the years but I can't find any answers on how to do it for mango or loquat. I have a few 25gal and one each of 45,65 and 95 gal. I want to allow for the blazing heat in my zone also. Any ideas ??
Thanks
Larry

i like to bury the pot into a larger pot, couple of months before transplant...i.e. 3 1/2 gal in 15 or 20 gal..just leave plant in small pot..i am in florida..HOT at times..most of my growing ,except for bananas are in pots or some sort of container..at times i leave it buried for longer ,helps in root development, easier to control water,,no need to water as much..my opinion

2woodensticks has it right: pot in a pot. It helps avoid overheating and helps with watering / drainage. Don't overpot the mango, for sure. It will not be happy, especially when it gets cool over winter. Learned that lesson the hard way. Progressively pot up, put your smallish pots in larger pots filled with potting mix if hot pots and too frequent need for watering is a problem.

Mangos do not like transplanting
