Coconut

Last fall, my wife bought a coconut, in the supermarket. It only had the inner shell; the outer husk was removed. She brought it home, put it away, and promptly forgot about it. When she found it, some months later, it had sprouted. ( I didn't think they could do that, with the outer shell removed.) I planted it in a large pot, and it seems to be growing. I know I can't keep it for too long, as it will get too big. I would, however, like to get it outside for the summer. I know they like it warm, but what's the coldest it can take, at night? Thanks.
