Hi i have a canna that is just about to flower my first one out of 8 plants i have grown this year and two different variaties. once the rain stops i will take a picture and post in on here. The canna that is about to flower is named canna indica here in the uk. I have seen one that looks identical on this topic that goes by the name of canna robert kemp? May be its the same one.

Can you get a close up of the flowers? Are they solid red? How tall are they? From a distance they look a lot like Palmtree's Robert Kemp, but am guessing since you are asking that they don't look like that up close.

Hi. I have just uploaded the images of my canna indica. if anyone would like to take a look it looks so much like the robert kemp. I had to load it into the members gallery as i didn't know how to actually post it on the topic.

Ante, I just love the Cleopatra! Mine was killed when I thoughtlessly forgot to dig it up and it failed to survive the winter. What a beauty of flower and foliage.
