Apricot pest

I would really like to get some apricots this year. Every year I have hundreds of fruits go bad because of bugs. I have tried all the organic stuff and some seven dust last year. I apply every couple weeks but no luck. As of now the fruit is only about a week out of flower and it’s the size of peas.
What can I get for my sprayer and how should I do it? I have never treated the ground around tree could this be the issue?

Nothing is better than eating ripe stone fruit (peaches, apricots etc. ) from your backyard tree But, stone fruit are very prone to diseases and pests and will almost always require following a spray schedule. Your best bet is to contact your local county agent for guidance for your area. Here's a generic answer but may not be best for your location.

Have you tried organic pyrethrin? I just knocked out some beetles on my persimmon tree a few weeks ago:

Re: Apricot pest

I had apricot pests for a while. I can say that it is hard to get rid of them, but still possible. Besides, those pests can infest other plants. I had my apricot tree close to the grapevines. So, grapevines got infected too. I tried different home remedies to get rid of them, but nothing really helped me with my problem. That’s why I decided to call specialists who can determine what type of bugs has infected my garden. I think it was the best solution, instead then chopping that tree. The service I called did everything for me, and it helped me save my tree and other plants.

Are your pests airborne, or do they originate in the ground? Knowing what to fight against makes a big difference is assessing the situation and making a recommendation.
