Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
I have the local dwarf cavendish pubs to trade -that produces well and is sweet and with great texture, aswell as the tall silver banana (up to 7m in heights)
|
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Which variety is the tall silver growing to 7m?
|
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
It’s called Banana Prata
Our friend gave me this variety he has a jungle just with those Beautiful |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Probably Dwarf Brazilian
:nanadrink: |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
No banana prata is not the dwarf cavendish!
Prata gets up to 7m in heights, mine is under a year and about 4m something. |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Not Dwarf Cavendish but Dwarf Brazilian, they call it Santa Prata banana. Normal Brazilian are taller.

My namwah and orinoco are true ones. The others ones i cant tell yet. |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Kat, is Prata Ana same as regular Prata or is something else?
:nanadrink: |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Pequena Ana you mean ??!
It’s a variety I bought at BAM in Madeira - it’s growing huge. I would say definitely bigger than the azorean “prata” |
Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
Hmm, i bought it in Ribeira Brava market, with Prata Ana label. BAM looks a bit different (lebels and pots).

Good morning, I'm looking for cold-resistant and edible banana plants of a few centimeters that can be shipped cheaply to Italy.

Re: Active Eu Banana Exchange Program
I dunno if you are looking for exchange or buying, but lamaisondubananier in France is working good for me. Ive just bought kokopo and goldfinger Fhia 1 las month.
