what can I feed my baby musas?

Hi there,

I hope everyones nanners are growing well! I lost my mother musa from the winter here but have 5 pups that are trying to grow. What can I feed them? They are the lightest green I have ever seen, almost whitish! I gave them some of the lawn feed (24-6-12) while I was doing the grass but it has not seemed to help. It is still early here weather wise but I really want these babies to get green and grow....as I am sure we all do! Any suggestions on what numbers I need to look for in fert?

Thanks
:goteam:

Well that reminds of those old ads.. Sir for only a Dollar I can sell you, this here bottle of liquid sunshine that not only will it enhance how the sun shines on your plants, but will help them absorb the suns energy 3-fold. I know this is to good to be true, but it gets even better. Dilute 2 drops to one gallon of water and watch your plant grow 5 times as fast as others without it.. For only a dollar. This here liquid sunshine is a steal... lol :^)

Here's some info on how to post pictures in posts.

As for the fertilizer, I just use slow-release granules with a balanced blend. The stuff I use is 13-13-13 which means it has equal parts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. I'm not sure what the 'optimal' blend is for bananas, but I figure with a balanced fertilizer they're at least getting some of all 3 types (and it also contains micronutrients). So what type of bananas are they?

Hey I found the instructions to post pics! lol
This was the mother plant I bought last year at costco. It said it was a Musa Basjoo on the tag. These are the babies that came up this year. Momma did not make it through the winter.
