New ensete ventricosum maurelii

Hello All,
I ordered one of these and when it arrived looked essentially healthy but a couple of the leaves are a bit dry and damaged in transit. Should I cut them off or leave them be?

If they can still photosynthesise I generally leave them on unless aesthetics is important. If really dead or mashed, I will remove.
