Don't do this to your new pups
It started out like this. Nice big, healthy Truly Tiny pup that I separated off my mother plant.

Yes, it took a while, but it pulled out of it. It got a lot worse before it started growing again. It is growing very slowly. Temps aren't good for growing bananas now. Lows in the 50s for a couple days should help. Next year it will kick some butt. I will get it looking good again and give it away.

I have another project banana plant that I got from my good friend Al. It is a Siam Ruby pup that hat no roots, and only about 1/2 it's corm. I have it about 4 feet from my wood stove in my living room. I have been checking it every Saturday for roots since I received it. Last Saturday it had one new root growing and I feel good that this plant is going to pull through. Just needed a little heat to get it going. This one will be a house plant this winter.
