When seeds get ready to pop

Do they lose their "eye?" I have some Musa Sikkimensis that I began germinating about 2 weeks ago and it seems the"eye" of the seed has come off and I can see white inside. Is this good news. I think so, I just want to make sure. Thanks

Is the white growing out of the seed? This would be a good thing.
