seeds float or sink?

when soaking banana seeds, are they supposed to sink or float because i was told if they sink then they are healthy and if they float then they are bad

Hey Steven I'd go with that they are dry and take your chances. At the worst you will only get better @ germinating difficult seeds.. Then its all down hill. :^)

I've heard the same float/sink thing. Not quite sure how true it is...I had several that sunk and not a single one germinated :(
