or am I just deluding myself :(

I bought three varieties of banana seed and this area is where I planted some Musa acuminata.

I planted them on the 8th July (this year lol !) in a terracotta pot and placed it on a south facing windowsill.

Anyway, my question (of course) is - could this be an emerging Musa acuminata ? Does it look like one ? Too early to tell ?

You see, I put the seeds in old, used compost, which has been in a garden pot full of dead plants for about two years. I also have three shrub plants in the same pot which were planted about three months before the banana seeds.

So, on the one hand, it might be a 'rogue' seed - but if so, I would have expected it to have emerged long before I planted the banana seeds.

If that makes any sense - Could it really be ????? Can I expect a :drum: BANANA PLANT

Don't know what that is lol but doesn't look like a banana sprout. Sorry :(
