Can banana seeds survive being shipped in below freezing conditions?

Does anyone happen to know if cold sensitive banana seeds can survive being to shipped to an area which is experiencing below freezing temps during the day time? Could they ever still be germinated or should they be thrown away? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
