What type to grow in Oregon

I just started growing bananas this summer. I have a 4' Goldfinger with 2 pups growing and was looking to branch out. What types are good fruit producers and do well in Zone 8? Any help would be appreciated.

you know i asked that Question as well .
Icecream Bananas do great here . thousand Fingers do great here as well but very small bananas high in everything and make great baby food Or Salad desert foods . Kids and birds love them.
there are a few Cold Hardy ones that will do good in your area.
Im in florence oregon and dont have the same winters you do .
4 Gold fingers eh Those are supposed to do well as some type of Musa.

are you growing them in pots or our doors ?

Look into storage if you havent its a good time to start thinking that way Bigdog has a way he uses im going to try this yr .

Im also going to try a Hawiian Apple.

other then that basically cold Hardy and you can grow sitrus here as well Tammy
