Macropropagation for basjoo?

Hello,

I found documents about macropropagation (really NOT micro / TC):

General Banana Macropropagation

a roughly translated basics: Macropropagation English Basics
(automatic translation system, may be not accurate)

the original basics french doc : Macropropagation French Basics

And a last "close relative" document about In situ mass propagation

Here are my questions:
1/ These seem simple and affordable, someone have experience on this ?
2/ Is this can be applied to Basjoo/Sikkimensis ?

I have used it as well as a variant whereby the buds are excised and planted as "seed pieces" (like a potato). They work great, I don't see why it wouldn't work with M. basjoo and M. sikkimensis as well.

after i transplanted alot of my mothers basjoo's most of the main stem (pseudostems)? had died back and naturally this happened. i figured that was natural with bananas, i guess for all? anyways, after about a month the main stems finally started to pop out after a bunch of suckers were already quite large.

it also was sped up in the compost, as i use the compost as a cure-all for anything diseased, dying, or possible nutrient deficiencies, and it usually always works if they are not too far gone, something about the heat, good moisture holding, and beneficial organisms, even though i would think they would kill something off pretty quickly in a situation like that, actually brings them back.
