Looking for: Gynura variegata & Mikania ternata
Hey!
Both the variegated Gynura and the Mikania ternata are rare plants in Europe - I couldn't find a supplier until now. Is somebody here who has these plants and would sell cuttings/young plants to me? And it's most likely that I'd need a phyto.... I noticed that most nurseries in USA don't ship to Germany any more or the phyto costs are more than 200 USD and that's too expensive to me. If you know a supplier who can help me, it's more than highly appreciated, thank you! |

Yo Saski : Try Tony at rarepalmseeds.com He is in Munich, and gets seeds from all over the world. Perhaps he can help you track down what you need!

I'll try and contact him. Though I don't think that the variegated Gynura can be propagated from seed. But perhaps he can help with a plant :nanadrink: |
Re: Looking for: Gynura variegata & Mikania ternata
We quit selling the Gynura variegata at the greenhouse. When the plants get mature, they bloom and when they do, they smell like nasty used gym socks. We had like 5 hanging baskets and the smell was terrible. When the plants get to blooming size, they get real stringy looking and ugly too.

And if somebody doesn't like it, one can remove the flowers. It's alaways good to propagate them new every year to prevent the stringy look the plant gets when mature. |
