Planted a few of these out in the yard so I can get a real test of cold hardiness with winter coming and just wanted to add a shot of what the root systems are like on these in the "band" containers.

Although advertised as a species of Carica, they are not. I have grown them in USDA zone 9b. You will find the taste very poor in comparison to true papaya.

Howdy Richard, we have rubbed elbow's on other forums and in email as well.
I am sure you are correct on the fruit quality but have not had one fruit at my location.

If anyone was interested, these have all been sold

Where did you acquire the seeds from? I'd like to start these from seed myself.

Thanks!
