What a deal!
 
I clicked on one of the ads, in the banner, at the top of the page, where they were advertising cold-hardy banana "trees", with free shipping, and a free 5% off coupon. When the site came up, it said you could get a 2 to 4 foot (I don't know if this was pseudostem , or over-all height but, doewn further on the page, where they mentioned a height, it said it was from the ground to the top of the plant) basjoo for just $100.00. That's not all. If you buy 12 of them, they knock the price down to only $80.00 each and, if you wanted a one gallon size, you could have it for $60.00.

Yea, a local Garden Center sells Basjoo's that are 2 foot tall of P-Stem for $80.00, adn they sell a lot. I got mine from Sandy for $5 and one month later are the same size....:woohoonaner:

Our basjoos have apparently much lower quality. At that height, they are usually sold for like 10€.

I am so happy I found a good deal on my basjoo at a local nursery. 4 feet tall overall and it was only 12 dollars each! I got the last 2 and couldnt be happier!! Btu I cant believe they would sell a 2 foot tall basjoo for 100 dollars. Thats seriously ridiculous. I hope those pots are lined with gold!
