Unwrapping Musas
Looking for some good advice.
I live in zone 7B Maryland. I have some musa's that I cut down to about 3' and bubble wrapped them, I also covered them with hay and green lawn bags. This is the first time I did not cut them all the way down to the ground. The weather is getting warmer, this week the highs are in the 60's but the nights are still getting into the low 40's. I took off the top bag today and they have new leaves coming in. I left them open for the day and put the bag bag over at night since it gets in the 40's. I know that the first few days of next week will be in the high 30's a few days overnight. When would be a good time to uncover them for the spring without any worry about cold weather. Thanks for the advice :waving: |
Re: Unwrapping Musas
Check what your area's frost date is, use that as a guide and watch the weather forecast.
