Three Musketeers

Here are three of my potted plants. Reasonable results but I wish I had planted them in the ground. Mike your on target with the heat issue for pots. It is truly a conundrum when you consider wheatear you should keep plants in the sun or the shade. It would be difficult to have the pot in the shade and the leaves in the sun, but next year I'll be making some big changes.

Hi Al,

I accomplish the proper shade by placing the pots between other plans, which are
high enough to shelter tho pot, but leave the top exposed to the sun.

On the other hand, by the looks of it you can still stick your bananas in the ground,
although the weather might get a bit chilly in your region this late in the season.
