I know which one you are searching for.
It was a pic of some large pstems with holes cut out and plants being grown in them.
They were being used as a planter.
It was an effective way to repurpose a stem.
The picture got a number of comments.

What an awesome idea. Would this reduce/eliminate the need to feed the plants as the would get nutrients from the decaying pstem?
