Hi Scott, long time no see! How are you doing? How do you like Asia? I am still here in Japan doing my stuff, that is growing bananas for pleasure. I saw some unwise comments about your banana collection but I paid no attention at all. I know you are a good guy and old ladies talk doesn't entertain me. Hope everything is fine with you and welcome back to the forum.

Mauro, my good friend! So nice to see you. Thank you for your kind words. It was surprising how quickly some people jumped to conclusions. Sheesh!

I wanted to go to Japan but couldn't quite afford it. Then the tsunami hit and I was concerned how it affected you. Such a tragedy! I just moved from China to Indonesia, but soon I'll go to Thailand I hope. Indonesia won't issue a work permit to foreigners over 52, so I must move on. I'm hoping to grow bananas again when I get there. I'll try to save up to get to Japan. My first job in China paid very little, just enough to get by.

I often wondered how you were doing. I remember your experiments and I really want to see how they're progressing. I've spent the past few days getting reacquainted with the posts/photos and old friends. It seems I've forgotten so much. This old brain must have a leak.
