Question about Chinese bananas

Kind of a way off topic but on topic. I have a question actually. I was on you tube watching shows about China's ghost cities and then I came upon these two guys riding around on motorcycles calling themselves advchina. They chat about things in china while they ride around on their motorcycles. I cant believe the beauty in this area of china where they ride around. Shinzen(sp) I think they said they were at or around. it appears to be very tropical with palms, elephant ears, and bananas. They pass by banana plants every where as they are part of the scenery. So what my question is since the guys don't discuss the banana plants in their shows I was wondering if anyone would know what kind of Bananas they have there?

Re: Question about Chinese bananas

No clue on varieties. Google "Banana farming in Shinzen". Very interesting. Shinzen is far southern China very close to the ocean. Definitely tropical.
