Pre Flag Leaf

Looks like we will get at least one more Orinoco bunch this year. The last five leaves were slightly reduced in size and a couple of days ago a 2' leaf unfurled. :woohoonaner:

I just hope mine doesn't try to do this in a few weeks cause it's getting chopped back so that it'll fit back indoors for fall!

Yeah, those are the trammels of northern-climate banana propagation. Oh well, that's what makes it fun/challenging!

Is this an 'official' term? I've heard of flag leaves and pre-flag leaves but I've never heard them called 'paddle leaves'.....although it does seem fitting!
