Pictures for the English version of the German banana book

Hi,

now I'm active again, the English version was delayed by my accident last October. I broke the tibial head in my right knee, one van collided me :rollerbananadone:, only the driver is guilty. I was then operated and the doctors made their job very good, so that I can walk again now. I was for 3 months in a wheelchair and I couldn't continue to translate my banana book. Then I had one month gymnastic and then I was one month in Brazil at my second home and in my new yard. In Brazil I began to continue to translate my banana book. Now the chapter about outplantable and hardy bananas is ready, I will begin to translate and update the next chapter now, about halfhardy bananas.

I will describe total 101 cultivars and species in the English banana book, the book will also one updated version of my banana book. I'm also looking for new pics for my new English version:

Musa 'Buffalo Horn'
Musa 'Golden Rhinohorn'
Musa 'Hill Banana'
Musa 'Monkey Fingers'
Musa 'Ouro'
Musa 'Valery'
Musa ingens
Musa campestris var. lawasensis
Musa violascens
Musa 'Da Terra'
Musa 'Figo'
Musa 'Jaipira'
Musa 'Maravilha'
Musa 'Pacová'
Musa 'Pacovan Ken'
Musa 'Preciosa'
Musa 'Roxa'
Musa 'Tham Maeo'
Musa 'Tropical'
Musa 'Veinte Cohol'
Musa 'Velhaca'
Musa 'Vitória'

Many of them are cultivars from Brazil.

But I know that you do have some pics from some cultivars and species. Thanks in advance for pics for my book.

With the best

Ouch! I'm glad to hear you're back on your feet again, Joachim! You're welcome to any of my photos; in my galleries the bananas labeled 'Orito' are your Brazilian 'Ouros'

I would more than gladly give you some pictures I'll take, when my Hill bananas are bigger, but they are tiny plants right now, so nothing there... :D But if you don't manage to find anything else by then, I will gladly contribute...

So glad to hear you are on the mend, Joachim. As emphasized, rehab is probably the hardest but most important part of the healing process.
Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the species/variants you listed. You are welcome to browse my Flickr site and if there is anything you need, it's yours to use.

Joachim, sorry to hear of your accident but glad to hear you are better. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of any of those varieties at this time but there are others who have posted photos of some of them. If you haven't already done so, browse the wiki section of the site and search the forum for these varieties.

Best wishes,

Harvey

Good to hear you're back on your feet again Joachim.
Will the english version of your book contain any other information/pictures compared to the german one? Will there be updates e.g.?
Kind regards,
Remko.

Yes, there are also updates, which are still not in the German version. When the English version is ready then I will begin with the Brazilian version in the English language and then in the Portuguese language with the help of my guest daughter Leda and my Brazilian friend Helton.
