Re: PR Maricongo Plantain Flowering?
Following the thread, and searching (comparing) for archives, photos/pictures, threads in the forum there is no way possible this is a PR Maricongo Plantain.....PR Maricongo Plantain normal height 10 to 12 feet, mystery nanner, tops 7 feet...looking at the flowering fingers, they look more as a banana fingers than plantain fingers...very disappointed....looks more as a Dwarf Cavendish to me......What do you guys think what it is?.....
I will wait until finish blooming and/or ripening of the fruit to take them out (clear the mat completely)!.....beautiful French Red Plantain to the rescue!..... In a more positive note....I got my PR Dwarf Super Plantain with 8 hands already and still opening!.... |
