Need an ID
 

So this is interesting to me...I received this banana as a pup from my father-in-law who does not know what it is.

As you can see the leaves have red in them, but the adult plant my father-in-law has does not have red in the leaves...any thoughts on what this banana is and why mine has red in the leaves and his does not?

Some varieties have red in their leaves when they are small, and lose it when they mature.

Ditto what pitangadiego said. I would venture a guess based on one of my own plants that looks similar - Brazilian.
