My bananas have started to grow slowly!

My first hand appeared on Oct 10th, and they were growing fast now it seems almost as if they have stopped growing or are now growing at a VERY slow rate. Any ideas what could be the reason? Is this normal?

From what I understand about your set up, I'd say lighting, temperature range, and possibly nutrients at a distant 3rd.

The nanners actually started growing faster when i first started using the light, then about 3 weeks into it, they slowed down a lot. The pup next to it is pretty huge now compared to how big it was when the bananas appeared, so i dunno. Its frustrating, oh and I had a pretty bad fungus gnat problem, but as far as I know the larvae only eat the roots of seedlings.

Well first it was the heat, and now it is the lack of correct photo spectrum. The heat also contributed to the bug problem, but this will cure it:
Green LightŪ Fruit Tree Spray
You can use it at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon as a soil drench and kill all those larvae.

And that plant is the only one growing slowly now, the others are still thriving, putting out a new leaf each week, and all the plants are a nuclear shade of bright green, much greener than they were outside in the summer.

Hey Richard, I just bought a bottle of the Fruit Tree Spray, but the directions say to spray the underside of the foliage. Is it possible to treat the root area with this stuff? I noticed my palm trees have this white mold or fungus growing underneath the soil and i worry that the bananas might have the same, I really hope the roots of my banana are not all rotting.
