Muss troglodytarum/m.fe'i source, info?
 

I've been reading about m.troglodytarum recently, but not finding enough info to tell if this is worth growing in a container, how large it gets, what the seeds are like, etc. Has anyone grown this, or know of a seed source?

I've also read that the fruit MUST be cooked before eating, although it's not much like plantain. Any comments will be appreciated.

Unless you live out here in Hawai'i... It will be very hard to aquire these plants. They are even a bit tideous to find here.

They don't have to be cooked... But they are much better that way. I could eat them any which way though.

They are definitely not a good candidate banana for container growing, or really for anything unless you really specifically want them, because as Alva said, they are even hard to grow in the tropics sometimes, and most of the time even under optimum conditions are very slow plants often taking up to 3 years to fruit. Some varieties make see but it's not totally clear if they are frequently viable or not, but in any case they are propagated by suckers which are hard to come by.
