Musa "Tall Red" = Musa Jamaican Red

Are there any differences?

Jamaican Red usually refers to the dwarf form, 'Tall Red' is the taller (full sized) version, also known commonly as 'Red Dacca'. The tall ones I've seen are usually about 10-12ft (in Hawaii at least) and the dwarf about 5-7ft, but sizes will vary by region, growing conditions and different clones.

"Mossi" is the true name of the Red Dacca / Morado / Cuban Red (AAA) according to the Musalogue publication. Origin: Comoros.

Not sure how this has been determined, since most sources list the origin as unknown, or vaguely SE Asia.

Elsewhere I've read that the proper name is Red Dacca. Presumably "Dacca" refers to the capital city of Bangladesh, which was once spelled that way but is now spelled "Dhaka."
