Brrrrr.... never thought of growing bananas in Cananda. After seeing where they are grown around the world it is mind boggling. Good luck.

I think its time I update this.
ITs been about 8 weeks since they sprouted, and to spare you the long story, they were exposed to light frost one night, and the next, one was fine (no frost), the other one was covered in frost. They both made it, and didnt even go dormant. Already on leaf #2, a week indoors in a sunny window. Not much growth, but the leaves are getting noticeably larger. Ill post pics tomorrow, just thought Id write that down so I dont forget it. Plus its interesting.. |

Heres the pics!!! The bottle is 500ml.
The first one is the one that was covered in frost. ITs growing really fast now, in full sun. ![]() ![]() This is the one that was relatively untouched.. ![]() ![]() They are both recovering well from 3 days at freezing temps at night (light frost). |
