Translucent leaves are fairly common with the Manini.

Today was the first time I saw a translucent leaf on an ABB, and these photos were taken over a 22 hour period. By looking at the roller you can see the order in which they were taken.

First photo is a pure white

Second photo shows the pigment leaving.

Third photo shows the pigment returned to a pure white.

I've never seen pigment return like that and was really expecting it to be completely translucent for the third photo.

Tomorrow should be interesting. :lurk:

Hose are beautiful! Do you grow your variegated plants in full sun? My Florida gets so burnt it looks aweful, I’m considering a more shaded location in hopes of preserving the looks a bit. Yours look awesome!
