Im going to purchase a banana plant.

Here in newfoundland my idea is to now buy a Super Dwarf Cavendish, what would the requirements be to grow this sucessfully.?

Ex:Soil,Light,Fertilizer,humidity,Hardiness.

Hey...About the closest I could come to New Foundland is the dog I use to have....LOL I am in Texas...BUT Banana's like rich moist well draining soil.. here they recieved about 2/3 a day of sun becoz we are so hot and dry. they will burn.They require alot of water..I don't really use commercial fertilizers we are organic so not much help there..It will also depend if you plan to grow it in a pot or in the ground..
