Thanks JB, it looks like your Patupi is really kicking ass! Mine took a long time to root and initiate growth. I think we both got ours about the same time.

Yeah mine took a bit to root as well but when I put her in the ground she headed for the sky LOL!I just hope we have enough warm weather left to see it complete a fruit cycle since it only needs 3-4 weeks after the bloom comes out :08:.

Thanks. I don't do anything for winter. If it's a mild winter, we'll get bananas next year. If it's too cold they freeze down and bounce back.

My Veinte Cohol has a flower bud emerging after completely freezing to the ground this past Winter! Hopefully we can reliably get fruit every year from this variety in Zone 9...
