Got a zebrina!

My boyfriend laughed at me a lot. We went to Fred Meyer's to buy him shoes, but of course I had to look at the plants, and next thing I know I'm toting this around. Though it came in a much smaller pot, and was root-bound like woah.

I've never seen anything quite like it in stores, given that there are three nice big pups here and the cut-down remains of the central stalk of the mother plant. It looks pretty healthy and happy though, and now it has a bigger pot, so I'm quite pleased with it.

Nice looking plant, but from the picture it looks more like a cavendish variety as the underside of the leaves are green. Zebrina has red under the leaves.

Looks heathy though!

very nice. I agree with crazy canuck also. I have both zebrina and both super dwarf and dwarf cavendish. I'd say it is probably dwarf cavendish, but still very nice plant. IMOP I would separate them and pot them up individually.

Well, trust the stores to get it all wrong! I'd rather a dwarf cavendish anyhow, actually. So hey, all good by me!
