A flower in February

I cut back my winter damaged leaves today and discovered a flag and an emerging flower! My concern is, without leaves, will the flower have enough energy to fully form bananas? Will the pups photosynthesize enough energy to support the mother and the new bananas through the corm? This is my first flower so I'm excited and obviously overthinking, but any info would be appreciated
