I've seen a lot of bananas over the past 50 years but this is the first time I've ever seen this.
Normally the right blade of the banana leaf is rolled around itself then tucked into the midrib and the left blade is then wrapped around both of those. This functions very well because as the new roller emerges it is rotating clockwise when viewed from above. This leaf has the left blade rolled around itself then tucked into the midrib and the right blade is then wrapped around both of those.
