Honestly, my best bananas have come from other members whether locally or shipped. With so many members put what you're looking for in the wants section and members are more than happy to sell or trade.

In terms of sites, the forum does have some info in some of the sites. Do some searches. I've ordered a few times from Wells Springs Gardens. The service is good but mixed results as a lot of the plants are still very weak. YMMV. Some other sites are known to grow them stronger before selling.

Going-bananas.com - Homestead FL has been met with great success here.
WeBeBananas.com - San Diego CA is operated by a member on here.

I have not ordered from going-bananas so I do not know. Maybe somebody else with experience with them can chime in for you.

However, Jon at WeBeBananas/Encanto Farms Nursery does. That is where I got my Blue Java from and I believe a few others.

Check this thread out and you can see if he still has any.

Going Bananas: Welcome to Going Bananas of Homestead, Florida!

I have placed online orders with them and also purchased plants and fertilizer when they were at local (Key West & Marathon) tropical plant fairs. The bananas ordered online arrived in excellent condition. I do not know if they have the "real" ice cream. Good luck! :doggyandnaner:
