Default Balbisiana

Hello banana people....have a couple of questions for you! Is Musa Balbisiana also known by the name of Black Thai ?

If it is known as Black Thai, then what is Musa Balbisiana Gigantea ?

'Black Thai' is trade name for one form of M. balbisiana, but there are many other forms. 'Gigantea' is another trade name for a different form. Some forms of M. balbisiana are officially described and documented, but many are not that are still available on the hobby market.

So I guess I have to wait till the seeds from the Balbisiana and the seeds from the Balbisiana Gigantea germinate to see which forms I have!
