Is Anybody Familiar With Hart's Choice?

Possibly also called Chamba?

I was reading a book on Florida fruits from the late 19th century and it mentioned this one along with the Orinoco as being the most widely cultivated and cold hardy. It was also said to be superior to the Orinoco in every way. Heirlooms are a hobby of mine so I'd be interested in growing it if there's any out there.

Can't help with your question. As an heirloom fruits and vegetable grower check out the Seed Savers Exchange if you haven't already.

perhaps Chamba=Champa, which could be Chini Champa. Just a guess.
