This is why I like growing nanners way outside the climate/environment of such pests. Nice to see such a resilient plant though.

I've had Ice Creams and A'ea'e's with much less damage that died or fell over before they flowered or flowered but didn't get mature fruit.

maybe try an Aye Aye from madagascar..there ugly but they love grubs..Grubs lets go fishing..or is that Grubs the other white meat..
